00:00I think for once, this summer, people weren't getting too critical or panicky, really.

00:05We've seen over previous summers where probably sign a few on the first day

00:08and then people get, oh, what's going on, we're so slow, we need to be quicker and that.

00:13Oxford are signing 100 players and Rotherham, the division below,

00:17are signing 10 players in the first week, therefore they're going to have a good season.

00:22We see it all the time, don't worry about other people signing players,

00:26just concentrate on yourselves as ever.

00:27And, yeah, there's been not a lot of activity in the Championship as a whole

00:33and I don't think people are being very realistic and patient, to be honest, this time round.

00:38We all just wanted a signing, didn't we, to spark things into life

00:42and this is what it is, Australian, hugely promising, really good pedigree,

00:50again, we'll judge them in a Pompey shirt, but it's pleasure to get excited about it at the moment, isn't it?
