00:00Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin.
00:03The owner of a new coffee shop, deli and wine bar is looking forward to its opening in Derbyshire this month.
00:09Aptly named the Marketplace because of its location, the latest arrival in Bolsover Town Centre will breathe new life into a quaint building by welcoming its first customers on June 25th.
00:20For the first few months, the Marketplace will be open daytimes only, with an offering that includes barista-led coffee, bagels and bowls and small bites.
00:30Sharing board, small plates and sides will be introduced to the menu when the business eventually opens in the evening as well.
00:36The man behind the venture, Adam France, is pleased to see his ideas and concept for the old building come to fruition after months of renovation work.
00:45He said,
00:46It's not just about opening the doors and letting people eat and drink. It's more about a community project, getting people involved and invested in the site.
00:54A Derbyshire primary school is one of over 3,000 across the UK set to benefit from a new government programme.
01:03Lentol Infant and Nursery School at Marsh Lane in Dromfield has secured funding of £150,000 to develop the on-site nursery provision there.
01:11The grant is part of a £37 million government investment to create 100,000 new child care places and schools across the UK.
