North Wales families may see lower BBC bills under property-based fee plan

00:25Average Bandi council tax in the region ranges from £1,700 to over £2,000 a year. Licence-fee

00:31money helps fund services like BBC Radio Cymru and local news programming from Clandaf and Bangor.

00:37The BBC says nine in ten adults in Wales use at least one of its services every week,

00:42although North Wales has higher-than-average evasion rates. The plan is still in early

00:47stages and would need approval from the UK government, along with public consultation.
