In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we reflect on how being brave is often difficult and sometimes costly."Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act. One of the virtues the Holy Spirit grows in us is courage. Not being impulsive or overbearing, but learning to be brave. "Courage is knowing right from wrong and choosing to do right even if no one else is. But no positive change has happened in the world without someone being brave enough to choose it."

00:10What's the bravest thing you've ever done?
00:12Maybe you jumped out of a plane.
00:14Maybe you stood up to a bully or served in a conflict zone.
00:17Maybe you told someone you loved them, not knowing what they'd say back.
00:21Being brave is often difficult and sometimes costly.
00:25History is riddled with the stories of people who went along with terrible things
00:29because they couldn't find the courage to resist.
00:33Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor who died in the concentration camps, put it this way,
00:39silence in the face of evil is itself evil.
00:43God will not hold us guiltless.
00:45Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act.
00:50One of the virtues the Holy Spirit grows in us is courage.
00:53Not being impulsive or overbearing, but learning to be brave.
00:58Courage is knowing right from wrong and choosing to do right, even if no one else is.
01:04But no positive change has happened in the world without someone being brave enough to choose it.
01:10God will notlive it.
