St. Monica's Preparatory retained the championship trophy at the National Primary School Championships.

00:00158 primary school students from 35 schools across TNT competed in the fifth edition of the C3 Center's National Individual Primary School Chess Championships recently.
00:12The first place went to Ty Humphrey, who is home schooled.
00:16Nicholas McClechey of Lambo Anglican Primary was second and Adrian Allum of Cedar Grove Private Primary placed third.
00:24In the female subcategory, Brianna Joseph of Montrose Government Primary captured first place with 7.5 points.
00:32She was followed by Nia Martin of Elohim Learning Centre and Sri Anwita Sai Meneni of Specialist Learning Centre with both getting 7 points.
00:42St Monica's Preparatory once again proved their strength by retaining the championship trophy.
00:47Meanwhile, the TNT Chess Association has a new executive.
00:51The President is Sandy Razak, with Yogendra Nath Ram Singh as second Vice President.
00:58The third Vice President is Sadiqa Razak.
01:01Merline Lafleur is the Secretary, while Tisha Subaya Ballyram is the Assistant Secretary.
01:07And Bisham Sundar Singh is the Treasurer.
