00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Cusenbets and today I'm out in the streets of Manchester
00:03asking people about housing and gardens. Particularly we want to know how much value a garden would add onto a house
00:09for a prospective buyer. Here in Manchester you're often looking at apartments or flats with very minimal green space.
00:15We want to know how important the garden will be to prospective buyers.
00:18It'd be important to me because of my daughter. Like it's not important to me, it's important that she has an outside space to
00:25do stuff. And I do have, our house has like three gardens, but...
00:30Like a good garden is good. I think, like, I think a balcony and garden for me serve the same like purpose.
00:37You know where I sit outside, there's a little bit of soap. I'll be a cup of tea in the morning.
00:41Like it's literally what we've done this morning. It's great. I think it is important to be able to sit outside for a bit.
00:48Yeah, I'm not that concerned about gardens, mate. If I can lie to you, I don't know.
00:51I think I'd pay more for a garden, to have a dog, like an animal.
00:56But other than that, if it was just me, I'm not that bad about a garden.
