00:37In April 2024, the federal court also ruled that both parents must consent to a child's conversion and confirmed that Luo's children remain Hindus.
00:47Nagaswaran had a criminal record, having served time in the Kalantan prison for a drug-related offense.
00:54He was also charged at the Sungai Patani Sessions Court in July 2023 with causing grievous hurt to Luo at their home in 2019.
