00:00Probably there's a lot to do with masculinity.
00:04A lot of men, you know, are scared to go to the doctors
00:08and they need to start thinking a lot about their health.
00:12You know, that's one thing women seem to do more than what we do.
00:16You know, we need to kind of open up a bit better.
00:19I've just recently done an essay about mental health and the creative industry
00:24and it really upset me,
00:28the fact that there's not a lot of safe spaces for men.
00:32They are slow to visit the doctor because they
00:38potentially think that they're indestructible, nothing's going to affect them
00:42and it's got to get probably quite bad before they consider picking up the phone.
00:48Coming across weak, I think people don't want to come under,
00:52like, oh no, I'm not at full capacity as I could be in strength.
00:56So I think it's held back because of that reason, probably more so.
