How much money did Walmart make last year?

Walmart tops this year's Fortune 500 list, so we asked New Yorkers how much money they thought Walmart made last year.

00:08I would guess $20 billion profit.

00:11That's a tough one.

00:14Overall, I would say Walmart did a few billion in revenue.

00:18Walmart probably ranges anywhere in between 6% to 7%

00:22as far as their margins are concerned, gross margins,

00:24or something like that.
