When Walmart asked its employees what they wanted in a new headquarters, the answer consisted of three things: Lots of natural light, parking, and food.

00:00First and foremost, we listened to our associates and all of the surveys in the

00:03beginning said we want really great natural light, so invest in that. Bring

00:08daylight into our workday. It's something that's been quite absent in

00:11the spaces we've come from, so no surprise it was important to our

00:14associates. Parking, make it really easy for me to get to and from work and around

00:19work. We in the past had just inadvertently created a lot of friction

00:22because we developed buildings all across the area for our highest and best

00:26use. And then it was food. Give me lots of variety, great prices, lots of dietary

00:32sort of opportunities, and give me whatever I need because no workday is

00:36the same anymore.
