00:00Hello, this is E-Soup, aka Specific Soup. Today I'm back with another Bandmade video.
00:07I think this might have been mentioned in a few comments, but I have a comment on my memorable
00:13reaction from GregOM2HB, and he said, more from Bandmade's hard side, and he listed a few songs,
00:24and then he said, for perspective, Thrill was the band's first and almost last video. And I'm
00:30gonna check out the other stuff he mentioned on the band's hard side, because I think that's the
00:35stuff that I most like by them. But I have a long way to go just going through so much of Bandmade
00:42that has been suggested to me. But I was really curious about their first music video, and I would
00:48love to know more about the story on that, that their first music video was almost their last.
00:52I heard something like when they first got together, and I guess released this first song,
00:57that maybe at first they weren't seen as successful enough, and maybe they were just almost disbanded
01:02because of that. But I'm not really sure. I'd love to know more details on that. Obviously,
01:08I'm so glad that that didn't happen, and they got to stay together. But yeah, I was just really curious
01:12about their first official music video, and it says it's from... Okay, well, the comment said it's
01:19from 2016, but actually on YouTube. It's from November 2014. And this is the Thrill music video
01:26from New Beginning, the album. Oh, and good, it looks like they have English subs. So, without further
01:34ado, I'm going to get right into it. Oh, it's like introducing them. Oh, I love the red.
02:04I don't want to interrupt anything. I just want to say I love this sort of... I feel like there's an
02:11era where like a lot of videos had this aesthetic where it's like black and white, and it's not
02:17actually black and white here, but the colors are desaturated. But then there's red, and red is like
02:22the only real pop of color that comes out. We're like really focusing on the red. Love that. Gonna go back.
02:37I love the sound effect with the letters appearing.
02:52I love that guitar.
03:22Oh, I love this video.
03:52Oh, that's, that's Miku, right?
04:12I love having Miku also singing.
04:15Like, I know that she does kind of background vocals in a lot of their songs, but I feel
04:19like she's kind of more equally sharing the singing in that one.
04:22And I'm really enjoying the back and forth between Saiki and Miku.
04:49I look so young.
05:06All right, here we go.
05:07Time for Misa's bass solo.
05:17Y'all don't want me pausing or probably talking over it.
05:21So I'm going to actually go back to where that started because I don't want to do that either.
05:25In my last video, um, I think it was their song Hate.
05:29Was it Hate?
05:30Or maybe it was another one, but it was the most recent bandmate video I did.
05:34And some people got upset that I paused during, like, a solo, which I think was Misa's bass
05:39solo.
05:40But then there was also a guitar solo in that one, too, I think.
05:43Um, and I just got really excited and I had a lot to say and I preferred to pause rather
05:48than talk over it.
05:49But, like, I don't know.
05:51It just, I liked it so much that I got excited about it.
05:54So I will try not to pause at weird times.
05:57Or if I do, I'll just go back to the beginning of something.
06:00But, you know, I make reactions and if you want to go back and listen to the song in full
06:05with no interruptions, I recommend that you do that on their official channel or their
06:10official Spotify or whatever.
06:11So you can always do that.
06:12I see the Jimi Hendrix sticker.
06:23Here we go.
06:53That, I've gotta be on my way, just breaking new gate, that is gonna get stuck in my head
07:17for sure.
07:47And there you go.
08:09Band made.
08:10And I love this logo with, like, the little lace ruffles around it.
08:13Oh my god, right.
08:14It looks like a band-aid, but with lace around it.
08:17Have I, have I not seen this logo before?
08:20Do they still have this logo?
08:22Because otherwise I'm like, how have I not noticed before that it looks like a band-aid?
08:26That's amazing.
08:27This was another great song.
08:29I can't believe this was their very first music video.
08:31They just seemed very comfortable and, like, with it together from the start.
08:36I mean, it just seems like they've always been incredibly talented at everything they do.
08:41I really enjoyed this.
08:42Like I said, I would love to know more about how this almost became their last music video.
08:47Like, they almost got disbanded after this question mark?
08:51Which is crazy to me.
08:53Because this is, like, such a solid debut.
08:56I really enjoyed it.
08:57So, thank you so much for the suggestion.
09:00Thank you everyone who has been making suggestions and commenting and subscribing.
09:05I really appreciate it so much.
09:07Until next time, this is Esoup.
09:10Signing out.
