00:08the official video. Um, this is one of a few new songs by her. I think there might be a new

00:14album. I haven't heard very much recent Hayley Williams, but I've heard like a little bit.

00:21She was featured on this song with Moses Sumney that I heard. I've heard some stuff,

00:26I've heard some things from like a remix album for- I think that was actually Paramore. Like a

00:32remix album of recent Paramore. But like, I- there's something else recent by her that I

00:38think I've heard, but nothing off of this newest album. I'm pretty sure. So I don't really know

00:44what the vibe of this is going to be like because her current stuff, I think, is very different from

00:51the kind of thing she was doing in Paramore. And what Paramore is doing right now is also very

00:56different from, you know, how Paramore used to be. So I am not really clear on what she sounds

01:05like right now, like at all. So this- this could be anything. Like, I really don't know what this is

01:09going to be like. Um, I'm going to file this under another song that my girlfriend suggested I react to

01:15because she was telling me I should do one of the new Paramore songs. So I'm excited and I'm going to get

01:21right into it.

01:41I didn't expect her voice to sound like this. See, I haven't been paying attention to new stuff, so I

01:46didn't know. She's doing things with her voice that are totally different from, like,

01:52at least what she used to do. This could be, like, just totally run of the mill. Like, oh yeah,

01:57Hayley Williams has been doing this for a while and I just wouldn't know. But my reference point

02:02of, like, old Paramore, I'm like, who is the singer? It couldn't be her. Let me go back.

02:50Okay, this vocal sounds more like what I'm familiar with her doing.

03:05This is lovely. I also like the vibes of her walking through, like, an old house that they're

03:26currently, like, painting and renovating that just gives- adds a good, like, atmospheric thing to this.

03:40I don't know why- it kinda reminds me of Fiona Apple. I feel like maybe I'm, like, lumping two things together just because of the

04:47vocal tone for a second there, it reminded me of her, but the rest of the song, maybe not

06:51I just wanted to say I'm really excited to hear more of what Hayley Williams has been doing recently.

06:56I was so surprised by her different like vocal qualities in parts of the song.

07:01Like in the verses.

07:03It's a really interesting sound.

07:05The song just has a nice you know thoughtful vibe.

07:10And like she's asking a very real question of like I'm almost 37.

07:15I don't know what I'm doing with my life.

07:17Is this normal?

07:18And I was just like yeah it's totally normal.

07:20I mean I'm younger.

07:21But like I'm in my 30s.

07:22So I think people my age and people older and people younger are like all asking the question.

07:28Thinking they should know like what they're doing or the trajectory of their life.

07:32But a lot of people just like you don't ever really feel like you've figured that out.
