00:06and I might have just had a costume change. I'm watching episode 18 right now. Um, I still can't

00:12get over how beautiful just, like, the cover screen is. The blue and the red. Ugh, it looks so good.

00:20I'm hoping that the way this, the series goes for a little while right now is kind of like

00:27adventurer. They have to rescue, um, what's her name? Gao Chong's daughter. They have to rescue her,

00:34and I'm hoping we get a little bit more information about Wen Ka Xing and the Immortal along the way,

00:42and I want to see more, you know, reconciliation and, you know, changes and stuff, but I guess I'm

00:50hoping that there's at least a few episodes before something just, like, really, really sad happens.

00:56The one thing I am dreading, if it does happen in a way that I expect, is, is, um,

01:03Chung Ling finding out, like, the truth about Wen Ka Xing. That scares me, but I, I'm sort of unsure

01:11at this point if that is gonna be something that, like, they just have a big moment or if certain

01:18things will be revealed in such a context that he's understanding or, like, I, I don't know what

01:24they're gonna do with that. I have, like, envisioned it and built it up in my head, but I can't

01:30predict

01:30anything with this show, so I don't necessarily know if it'll be, like, a big moment or, you know,

01:36in smaller pieces of moments over time. So much will happen in an episode, and I'm just, I'm really

01:43excited to see more character development from everyone. I mean, I feel like I'm picking on Wen

01:50Ka Xing to be like, I want to see more character development from him, but he's kind of the one

01:55who needs it the most right now, but I think everyone has lessons to learn, and yeah, I just

02:02want to continue finding out what the heck is going to happen next, because I really feel like I never

02:08know at this point. So with that said, I'm gonna get right into it. We were, the last episode, really

02:16sweet ending when Ka Xing was drunk. Really sweet, but, like, also really emotional ending. Yes, that,

02:24that, that's, that's what happened. Yes, okay. Where do we go from here?

02:44And I'm sorry, the kid is important, and he's very, very smart, and he's taking on a very big role

02:49for someone so young and disabled, and he is not just a little brat, but that's just a funny way

02:55to,

02:56like, tell Chung Ling to do that. But I'm, these robes, seriously, where is he keeping all his robe

03:03changes? But the, the pink, purple? We saw him in purple before. I'm trying to think about the purple on

03:12him. Is a, and I don't know if this is in any way consistent, because I'm, I'm, I'm going through

03:19my

03:19head thinking of, like, color theory ideas for Wen Ka Xing's robes, because the color choices are so

03:26interesting to me. And I'm like, okay, so we had him in purple when, yeah, he was in purple when

03:32the

03:32real hard-hitting stuff happened in episode 14, right? So I'm like, okay, now he's in, like, a pink, pastel,

03:38lavender-y, lighter purple. I don't know. That is very interesting. That is so beautiful. I cannot deal.

03:47I'm just, that is so gorgeous. Jeez, I'm just going back. I'm trying to look at this and figure out

03:54where they're traveling, because from this zoomed out, it looks like they could potentially be

04:00close to the valley-ish, within the same range somewhere. But it isn't, the, the armory is,

04:07like, outside of, or at the foot of the valley, or in the, this sounds silly. I don't really understand

04:11exactly where the armory is in relation to the valley, but it seems like they're close. Anyway,

04:17I think they're trying to go there. Did, that's, okay, the immortal guy said that. Oh.

15:52it's really hard to film a falling scene i think even with a better budget because if you want to

16:00show specific things happening you kind of have to slow things down and it's weird but just okay

22:11younger than he actually is in addition to needing a wheelchair they don't like clarify that but from that discussion

22:20it's like oh no it sounds like he's older than he appears to be and yeah so he's mad because

22:27he thinks like well my father can invent anything he like could have helped me out and potentially cured me

22:33of this disability but

22:34but maybe it's not but maybe it's not actually something that's curable in that way i still think it's

22:39it's cool that like at least like there's so many inventions that are able to like help him

22:44like get around and do different things i hope that this character gets to have like

22:50his moment like a little more i don't know grow not growth necessarily but just like i hope he gets

22:57to like be a little bit more of a character than make that if that makes sense then um the

23:02little

23:02person with like the gun needle things who wrote on the big guy's shoulders because yeah i was saying in

23:08the first episode that he appeared that i was like it's so cool that everyone's kind of like complimenting

23:14the wheelchair like oh this really amazing like invention of this mobility device um but it's like

23:20yeah i want them to not totally f up a disabled character and in the context of the time period

23:28slash fantasy world it it definitely seems like people aren't the most informed on like different

23:35kinds of disabilities anyway but like we're seeing there are like mechanical inventions as well as the

23:43more i don't know medicinal or like magical type of things that could help someone or like accommodate

23:50someone so that's cool anyway i'm gonna give him a chance to do his thing yeah i like misread him

23:56is like actually extremely young that wasn't clear but it that makes a lot more sense because it was

24:03just like that's a freaking genius like young child

33:15there are a lot of scenes where they're going through, you know, under the moonlight chasing

33:19each other in the sky, and it looks like they're just like legit flying, but I guess there's

33:24limitations on how long you could do it for.

33:27It depends on like the height distance.

33:29It's sort of like a long flying jump, and I- and sometimes it shows them where it seems

33:35almost as though they're like- they're taking steps in the air or steps like wherever it

33:40is that they're flying.

33:41But truly, I- I don't fully understand the limitations on the flying and how it's become

33:49so treacherous here because it didn't look like it was hard to fly far and high up in

33:55like the sky, you know, chasing people.

33:57They are weakened by falling and fighting and blah blah blah, so I know that, but I'm

34:02not like criticizing that, I'm more like, hello, can someone please give me a lowdown

34:09on like the rules surrounding flying here?

51:48And so we're seeing a situation where that's what the deal is with the armory is it has all of

51:55this knowledge in it.

51:57And that book is needed.

51:58So, you know, it's like there's so much greed surrounding trying to open the armory,

52:05but some people actually need or would be helped by the things that are in it.

52:10And it's like this just brings me back to the whole fight slash arguing scene where it's like how could

52:15we have a situation where everyone gets access to it and doesn't like just continue to fight over the things

52:21that are in it.

52:22And I don't know.

52:23That seems important to figure out.

52:25But okay, so there's a medical book in it, but they had been talking before about how that probably wouldn't

52:32be able to help.

52:32But maybe it would and the problem is just that there's no way to access that book because the-

52:39not having glazed armor or needing other things to open the armory.

52:44And his kid has like misconstrued things as though he's like refusing to try to help him.
