The West Indies beat New Zealand by two wickets in the 5th ODI in Barbados, resulting in the Black Caps clinching the series 3-2.

The visitors got to 268 for 9, with three batters hitting half-centuries.

In reply, the Windies crssed the line at 269 for 8 in the 48th over, with Shimron Hetmyer unbeaten on 69.

00:00Having already lost the series to New Zealand, the West Indies decided to put their visitors
00:04into bat in the fifth and final ODI in Barbados. Matthew Ford was the first to strike by bowling
00:10Henry Nichols for 10. Will Young and Nick Kelly then had some repair work to do out in the middle.
00:17Their stand was worth 86 runs for the second wicket. Young was castled by Vittel,
00:24Laws for 56. Laws then got rid of Mark Chapman cheaply.
00:37Kelly and new batsman Tom Latham then had a partnership of 54 runs.
00:47Kelly was out for 64 to give Godakesh Moti his only scalp of the match.
00:54Latham also went on to get a half century for the Black Caps.
01:01In fact, he would top score with 69.
01:09Latham fell to Alzari Joseph who picked up 2 for 38.
01:15There were also a couple run outs in the New Zealand innings.
01:25Jaden Seals took a wicket of the final ball as the Kiwis closed on 268 for 9 from their 50

01:33When West Indies responded, Akeem Oguist and Justin Graves gave their team a reasonable start.
01:43Their opening partnership was worth 57 runs.
01:50Oguist fell for 34, followed by Graves for 22.
01:56Captain Shehob then contributed 39 runs for the men in Maroon.
02:02Jaden Lennox removed Hope and then Casey Carty which made it 123 for 4.
02:08But Shufayne Rutherford and Shimron Hetmeyer came to the rescue.
02:16The two resurrected the innings by providing some pyrotechnics at the Kensington Oval.
02:24They put on 95 runs for the 5th wicket.
02:31Rutherford made 61, laced with 2 4s and 5 6s.
02:37He was stumped and it became 218 for 5.
02:41Gudakesh Moti then fell cheaply with Lennox taking his 3rd wicket.
02:45It reached the stage where the Caribbean side struggled at 248 for 8 with Jacob Duffy grabbing 3 scalps.
02:52But Hetmeyer was still there and went on to score an unbeaten 69 embellished with 2 4s and 4 6s.
03:00Jaden Seals hit the winning shot as West Indies reached 269 for 8 in the 40th over.
03:05But New Zealand clinched the series 3-2.
03:08Benwood now 1-8-5-6-4.
