Family describes missing teen Pheobe Bishop as 'strong-willed', as items found near Bundaberg bushland

As the expanded search for a missing teenager continues near Bundaberg - Queensland police say a local national park may be a significant location.The girl's mother has also renewed her pleas to the community for help.

00:09The search of the Goodnight Scrub National Park area is crucial to the police investigation.

00:13The teenager vanished nine days ago. She was booked on a flight to Western Australia but didn't make it to Bundaberg Airport.

00:21Police and SES volunteers have spent the day scouring an area of the National Park and are expected to resume their painstaking search tomorrow.

00:31No one is in custody in relation to the matter and police continue to speak to anyone who may know Phoebe.

00:37The house where Phoebe lived in Jinjin remains a crime scene and her mum is begging for answers.

01:01A car believed to be owned by one of Phoebe's housemates was seized by police earlier this week.

01:07They're now trying to determine whether the Hyundai iX35 travelled to Goodnight Scrub around the same time Phoebe disappeared.

01:18Anyone with dash cam CCTV footage including bush cam CCTV are encouraged to contact police if they have footage of around May the 15th.
