00:25it may be tampa bay george and i differed on toronto going into the season i don't think

00:31either of us really know who's going to be right on that one yet not just yet but it just seems like

00:37the i hate to say it it seems like the yankees are just much better than all these other teams

00:40i think they're better i don't know if i'd say much better the yankees are far from a great team

00:46they're an injury away from us if freed gets hurt they're screwed all right judge gets hurt it's all

00:51about the crying here so they're an injury away here but they will make additions at some point

00:55right now they don't have a third baseman think about it the yankees don't have a third baseman

00:57yet they still have a five game lead over the jays and the red sox here uh red sox have had injury

01:02problems of their own here not to mention the devers uh i guess issues here i i think the yankees will

01:08win here but i don't think they're a moral lock i don't i think this is not the yankees teams of the

01:12past yet these high american leagues look really a little watered down here i might take a shot i already

01:16have a ticket on the red sox and the blue jays by the way i always have a ticket on the blue jays and

01:20i'm always wrong but i wouldn't mind taking a shot at them uh once again going in i guess i

01:24would go with the jays better number american league central seems like it could have a minimum

01:29of two teams maybe three making the postseason it's pretty bunched up here detroit as of now the

01:35best team it's funny when george and i were doing this show two weeks ago we like wrote off the twins

01:39now they have stormed back right into the picture at six to one cleveland nine and a half to one kc's

01:45falling back a little ten to one but they'll jump back into the mix here uh this is going right down

01:49to the end i think george for like a wild card spot i definitely think one of one team is going

01:54to make it at least from this division i agree uh i thought the entire american league is watered down

02:01all right there are no great teams here it's all i said i it's hard to like anybody i think detroit

02:06will win with division so i do like uh the minus 330 love their pitching staff and they're hitting

02:10as i go we went over earlier on the show they're hitting better than we uh we actually thought we knew

02:14the pitching staff would be pretty good here we didn't see guys like bias mick uh uh you know

02:19green i said i'm a green back here torkelson finding it gliver torres looks uh looks very good in the

02:25uniform here uh minnesota still winning despite the injuries here correa did come back on friday

02:30uh bucks and not quite yet here to that collision here i would probably go with minnesota i do like

02:35their starting pitching staff the american league west to me is still wide open i i was talking about

02:43this on my other show earlier this week i don't know why seattle's minus 105 here didn't we learn

02:47our lesson the last couple years on the mariners where they sort of fell apart at the end of the

02:51year so it's seattle houston texas and the the a's have really uh scuffled here but you know it's

02:59i don't look i don't have any interest in taking the angels here george i do have to acknowledge

03:02they're playing their best baseball in years right now like literally years with taylor ward and logan

03:09no hoppy i don't think they can pitch very much but i it's sort of stunning to me to see the angels

03:15play this well even with otani remember they were losing 90 games they've been as hot as they've been

03:20since i can remember no argument i agree all right they're playing a very good ball ball here if they

03:27had another pitcher they might be somewhat interesting the seattle managers are also my

03:32kryptonite just like the blue jays all right i love this pitching staff even they're banged up

03:36all right kirby finally came back gilbert uh should be soon bryce miller started throwing

03:40uh brian woo uh he looks really good too and they're hitting a little bit better than we thought

03:45if they could add another bat here i'm gonna love this team all right i think i just kind of feel

03:50like this could be their year where they come out of the america league because there is no strong team

03:54all right there is no houston's not they're not all right they might lose blanco all right he's going

03:59to put a test here texas no they can't hit i think this could be the year for seattle
