00:00International pressure is mounting on Israel as its renewed military offensive in Gaza draws growing condemnation.
00:08On Tuesday, the UK suspended trade talks with Israel and imposed sanctions on violent settlers in the occupied West Bank,
00:15while the EU also announced it will review ties with Israel,
00:20with its policy chief calling the situation in Gaza catastrophic and Israel's action as beyond proportionate self-defense.
00:28Right, this comes up just a day after the UK, France and Canada warned of concrete actions,
00:35including targeted sanctions if Israel doesn't halt its offensive and allow aid in.
00:40Now, despite that, Israel vowed to expand operations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declaring plans to take full control of Gaza.
00:48Since May 5th, Israel has been conducting a new military offensive in Gaza, with hundreds have been killed since then.
00:55The United Nations also confirms that no aid has yet been distributed in Gaza,
01:01despite aid lorries starting to cross the border after an 11-week blockade by Israel.
