00:00Lights Out Extreme Fighting had Lights Out Extreme Fighting 24 this past weekend and we are going to talk about lots of the action that we saw there out there for LXF some great fights headline by the heavyweight battle between Tyrell Fortune and Myron Dennis Fortune of course a 34 year old former PFL and Bellator fighter talked to him a couple weeks ago about this upcoming fight and he said that you know he was doing this you know going lights out trying to make his way over to the UFC got his release from the PFL
00:29and from Bellator after all that after Bellator folded and PFL you know letting some of the fighters go move on and that was one of the guys for LXF Fortune had a great record coming in here trying to continue his career on an upward climb and we'll see if he was able to do that in the future but this one was supposed to fight Siamantufa in this fight but it seems like he pulled out the week of the fight so instead he gets Myron Dennis as a late replacement Dennis a 36 year old from Oklahoma City who fought once in Bellator making his Lights Out debut in this
00:59this one did not go too well for him you know sometimes those late replacement guys just aren't ready to face the guy who's been in there and training and preparing for weeks and that is how this one went down as we thought that title fortune would make the first round KO TKO when he was facing his former opponent now this one gets a second round TKO in his victory over Myron Dennis in this battle for Lights Out Extreme finding a great job by him even through and they got the crucifix position there to kind of block out his opponent to keep him from being able to you know defend himself really
01:29unloaded him unloaded him on the ground and gets the victory to move now to 15 and 3 Terrell Fortune Dennis now 20 and 13 so a guy who's been well traveled a lot of fights but this one does not go his way against the better fortune in this case he will see what is next for him we'll see if we get more Lights Out fighting from Terrell Fortune or if he ends up moving on to the UFC like his dream is or to another organization
01:59heavyweight battle speaking of great performances I'm going to take a lot more time talking about this fight than we actually saw of it and that is welterweight Jake Babian versus Marcus Walson and we talked to Barbabian a couple weeks ago talked about how he likes to get a quick start he had two wins by first round KO TKO before this one and a 15 second win in his last fight that wasn't good enough for him though as he was going again Walt Walson who lost back to back and three of his last four all by strikes
02:29the other guys and losing by the other guys and losing by the other guys and losing by the other guys and losing by KOTKO against a guy who loves to strike and loves to come at you you know fast and hard with his you know attack doesn't sound like it's a great outcome for Walston and it wasn't we thought Babian would get the first round TKO so what does he do he gets it in eight seconds here it is watch the highlight you can count them with us the kick the takedown the throw down the beat down it's over eight seconds is all it takes for the Barbabian to get the kick
02:59get another victory in lights out extreme fighting you see the exuberance by him jumping out of the cage going and you know meeting up with some of the fans there who are rooting him on a great job by Jake Babian getting another win in lights out extreme fighting a bantamweight you got a lot of different changes to this card with fighters dropping out fighters pulling out fights no longer happening that we thought we're going to see but the next one on the main card that we saw as far as pro fights went was bantamweight Salvatore Bruno versus Brandon Arndt Bruno was a 29 year
03:29two fight losing streak back in 2024 last year so he was coming in there looking for a little redemption Arndt had four lights out fights before this one had won his last one over Gerald Gonzalez by first round TKO last July Bruno gets the win here by third round TKO with ground and pound as you see there just getting them out and unloading on his opponent getting out of that losing schneid and back on his winning ways a 29 year old gets another victory and now moves to three and three in his career as opponent also
03:59now three and three but a great job by Bruno you when you're you know having things not go your way for a couple fights sometimes it's hard to break out of it looks like he did a pretty good job right there doing just that getting back to 500 and we'll see what is next for him whether it be with lights out or someone else then you had a bunch of amateur fights on the card filling things out as well you always have some of those with lights out extreme fighting but this one ended up having a little bit more of them because of some of the fights that had to get canceled the week of starting with of course as we talked about the
04:29bantamweight title fight for the bantamweight title fight for the amateurs for lights out extreme fighting Pepe Miller versus Soero Soero was 3-0 coming in and last fought March 21st in a different league had fought for lights out in February so he's been very busy going against Miller who was 2-1 coming in on two fight win streak that's now a three fight win streak as he gets the second round TKO over his opponent the great shot to the head and then follows him to the ground gets the finish good job by him
