00:06acknowledging that people in the territory are starving.
00:09His brief remarks come after concluding the first foreign tour of his second term,
00:14which saw him visiting several Gulf countries but excluding key ally Israel.
00:19We're looking at Gaza and we've got to get that taken care of.
00:23A lot of people are starving. There's a lot of bad things going on.
00:27Thank you all very much.
00:30A two-month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas collapsed in March
00:34after Tel Aviv reimposed a total blockage on Gaza that aid agencies say has triggered severe food shortages.
00:42Israel cut off aid to Gaza on March 2, saying the decision was aimed at pressuring Hamas into concessions.
00:49However, the group insisted on Thursday that the restoration of humanitarian aid
00:55was the minimum requirement for resuming negotiations.
00:58It also warned that Gaza was not for sale just hours after Trump floated the idea of taking over the territory
01:06and turning it into a freedom zone under U.S. oversight.
