00:04disorder at the border, a broken system where criminal gangs, dodgy employers and
00:09fake colleges too often decided who came into this country. Will the Home
00:14Secretary give the courts the powers to deport, the universities and colleges the
00:18resources to train our young people, and have a system that encourages the
00:22brightest and the best to come to this country and rebuild Britain?
00:27My honourable friend makes an important point. We do want to make the procedures
00:34easier for deportations of foreign criminals, for increasing returns of
00:39those who have no right to be in the UK and that's why we will be changing the
00:43procedures that we have inherited. He is also right that we need to ensure that
00:49the best international talent is able to come swiftly to the UK and that's why we
00:55will be setting out further reforms for the highest talent routes as well.
