Bollywood-aspirant model, lover get life sentence in cold-blooded murder of teacher

Model Angel Gupta and her lover Manjeet Sehrawat have been sentenced to life in prison for the 2018 murder of Sehrawat’s wife, Sunita.

00:11What began as a secret affair ended in bloodshed and in 2025, justice was finally served.

00:16It all began in 2016 when Angel Gupta met Manjeet Sehraavath, a married man.

00:20Their affair grew intense and soon dangerous.

00:22In May 2025, a Delhi court sentenced model Angel Gupta alias Shashi Prabha

00:30and her lover Manjeet Sehraavath to life imprisonment for the murder of Manjeet's wife, Sunita Sehraavath.

00:35The court called it a well-planned criminal conspiracy, executed with chilling precision.

00:40Sunita Sehraavath was a 38-year-old primary school teacher from Sonipath, Haryana.

00:44On October 29, 2018, she was on her way to school where she was to be felicitated for her academic work,

00:49but she never made it.

00:50As she reached Delhi's Bawana area, two men on a bike pulled up and fired three bullets at her from close range.

00:56She was killed on the spot.

00:58The investigation initially hit a wall until police recovered Sunita's personal diary.

01:02In it, she had written about her fears, her growing suspicion about her husband's affair,

01:07and her belief that he might harm her.

01:09Phone records and GPS data confirmed what she feared.

01:12Frequent communication between Manjeet and Angel, both before and after the murder.

01:16What followed was even more disturbing.

01:18Investigators discovered that Manjeet and Angel had hired contract killers for Rs. 10 lakh.

01:23Manjeet even paid the first installment online, leaving behind a digital trailer.

01:27Their first attempt on October 26, 2018 failed when the shooters couldn't identify the target.

01:32Three days later, on October 29, 2018, they struck again, and this time they succeeded.

01:36In 2025, a Delhi court convicted six people for murder and conspiracy.

01:40Manjeet Sahrawat, Angel Gupta, Vishal alias Johnny, Shahzad Saifi, Dharmendra, and Deepak.

01:47All were sentenced to life imprisonment.

01:49The court called it a cold-blooded murder of a woman trying to protect her home and her children.
