00:02We dressed Damson Idris, and we dressed Sofia Richie,
00:07and I dressed my wife, D. Oclepo Hilfiger, and myself.
00:12You guys look like a perfect pair.
00:14When you first heard the theme for tonight, what was your first thought
00:18and how you were going to incorporate that into tonight's looks?
00:21Dandyism. The dandies have inspired us forever.
00:25All designers in the world.
00:27So, it's really running through our blood.
00:30And it gave us an opportunity to really perfect our tailored,
00:33which is what we're doing tonight.
00:35What were some of the most iconic dandies that have inspired you?
00:38Well, I think you can go back to Muddy Waters, Little Richard,
00:42a lot of the musicians from the past, and then the athletes, the actors.
00:48Andre Leon Taylor.
00:49I mean, Andre Leon Taylor was a big inspiration.
00:53I was thinking Anna and so many people must be thinking of him tonight.
00:56Do you have a favorite memory with him?
00:58Well, he was always a supporter of mine, and I was honored to know him.
01:03I love that so much.
01:04And you're obviously a Met Gala veteran.
01:06What's your favorite thing about the gala, and what are you most looking forward to for tonight?
01:10The beginning and the end.
01:13Because the end always has an incredible entertainer.
01:17I'm very jealous, and hey, you're halfway, you're almost up the steps, so you're getting there.
01:22It's always a secret. Nobody knows who's entertaining.
