00:06the Boston Celtics and what an honor it is to be here to speak on the life and

00:10legacy of Bill Nye the Science Guy. Give him a round of applause.

00:18So my love for science runs deep and I have Bill to thank for that but not just

00:25for myself for a generation of students who grew up in the public school system

00:30possibly thinking that school was not for them. You know Bill was the bright spot in

00:35all of our day when they rolled that tv out with the trolley like we knew what time it was

00:44but Bill did not just teach science he taught a generation of students of all walks of life

00:50to explore to discover to create and also to ask questions so Bill this walk of fame is not just

00:59for an incredible career it's also for the curiosity you spark the doors you've opened

01:08and the minds you continue to inspire all over the globe

01:14this walk of fame is more than deserving thank you from a generation of students

01:19who grew up watching you listening to your voice thank you for changing the world
