00:00As the dawn services and marches wrap up for the morning, many of those commemorating Anzac
00:06Day then make their way to their local RSL for another April 25th tradition.
00:11Two Up, a centuries-old game, has become synonymous with Anzac Day.
00:17This Adelaide RSL runs an annual Two Up composition, with thousands of patrons expected to come
00:22by throughout the day for the traditional activities.
00:25The usually outlawed game is permitted once a year and punters are certainly making the
00:29most of it today.
00:30It's a relatively simple game, which is why it was such a staple among servicemen and women,
00:35only requiring two coins and something flat to throw them up in the air.
00:39Players make bets with those around them as to how the coins will land, either heads or
00:43tails, and that's as complex as it gets.
00:47My dad used to love Two Up, and it's just good to see the interest that, as I say, younger
00:54people have got in it now.
00:55I think it's just the coming together.
00:57That's the main part of it all.
00:58Everyone's in the centre.
00:59So much fun.
01:00I don't pay a lot of dollars, but it's a big part of, I love it.
01:05Earlier today in Adelaide, thousands lined the streets for the annual march through the
01:08CBD, with solemn services held both in the city and across the suburbs and regional centres
01:13as well.
