00:00Welcome back Sunbro. We hope you all in great health and great money.
00:04Before we start, please at least subscribe so we can have little money for food and paying bills.
00:09Alright, today we are going to talk about inflammation and depression,
00:13the surprising connection you need to know. You've probably heard that depression is linked
00:17to chemical imbalances in the brain, like serotonin and dopamine. But research now
00:22points to another big factor, inflammation. Inflammation is your body's natural response
00:26to things like stress, infection, or injury. It's meant to help you heal, but when it sticks
00:31around too long, chronic inflammation, it can lead to serious health problems like heart disease,
00:36diabetes, Alzheimer's, and even depression. 1. Inflammation in the brain. Scientists have
00:41found that long-term inflammation can reach the brain, causing what's called neuroinflammation,
00:45which is tied to mental health issues. A huge 2024 study of over 585,000 people showed that
00:52higher levels of inflammation are linked to a greater risk of psychiatric disorders.
00:56Researchers are now testing if reducing inflammation can help with depression.
01:00A recent review looked at 31 studies involving older adults and found that anti-inflammatory
01:04treatments, like omega-3s, herbs, and diet changes, help lower depression scores just as
01:09well as antidepressants. 2. Food and mood. Another study of 12,000 older adults in China
01:15showed that those who ate more diverse and anti-inflammatory diets were less likely to have
01:19symptoms of depression. So, what helps? Eating foods that fight inflammation, like leafy greens,
01:24tomatoes, olive oil, nuts, fatty fish, and berries. And what to avoid? Foods that trigger inflammation,
01:31like white bread, fried stuff, sugary drinks, red and processed meats, and margarine.
01:36Bottom line, a healthy, anti-inflammatory diet might not just be good for your body,
01:40it could also help lift your mood.
01:42Thanks for watching, Sunbro. Please subscribe, like, comment, and share if you find this helpful.
