00:00Right now, though, in the middle of our second date update, trying to help out David this morning, get him matched back up on another date with Bailey.
00:06He's having trouble, though.
00:08Yeah, but it sounds like they had a great date.
00:10They met, he said, at Walsingham, and then they went on the Pinellas Trail and did a little bike ride.
00:14And he said it was a beautiful day, and we had a lot of fun.
00:18He said it was casual.
00:19Yeah, I like that.
00:20Went well, and now he doesn't know what's going on as he tries to set up another date with her.
00:25We do have her on hold, though.
00:26She's agreed to talk to us, so that's cool.
00:28Let's bring her on right now.
00:29Bailey, are you there?
00:31Hey, yeah, I'm here.
00:32Hey, Bailey, thanks for coming on with us.
00:34We thank you so much for that.
00:36And you just heard us talking about your date with David.
00:40Does that sound about accurate of how things went down?
00:43Not quite.
00:45I'm going to be honest.
00:46The only reason I'm even on this call is because this guy's just so rude, and he needs to be called out.
00:54Wow.
00:55All right.
00:55Well, dang.
00:56I guess call away, then.
00:57What's going on?
01:00Yeah.
01:01We met on a dating app, agreed to hang out.
01:05We're both pretty active, so he suggested a bike ride.
01:09It was a really pretty day.
01:10So, yeah.
01:11I'm like, let's go for it.
01:12I'm showing up in, like, flip-flops, my cute little beach cruiser.
01:18You know, I'm not really thinking too much of it.
01:21And then he shows up like freaking a Lance Armstrong impersonator.
01:26He's got the shorts, those tiny little glasses.
01:30I mean, the shoes, everything.
01:31Well, there's serious bikers in Pinellas County, yeah.
01:34Yeah, he's in it.
01:37But, you know, I'm like, you know what?
01:38No, maybe this is cool.
01:40So we go to the park.
01:42We get on the trail.
01:44And, oh, my gosh.
01:46It is not casual at all.
01:48He did not communicate that he wanted to go for basically a workout.
01:51I mean, we went at a constant pace for, gosh, maybe like an hour.
01:56Oh, jeez.
01:56And you're in flip-flops.
01:59Yeah, flip-flops, a beach cruiser.
02:01Like, I am not set for this.
02:04This is not what I thought we were doing.
02:06I mean, he's going pretty fast.
02:07I'm trying to keep up with him.
02:08I'm, like, out of breath, sweating.
02:11There's a couple places I thought we could maybe, like, pull over and sit for a second and talk.
02:16But, no, he just kept going.
02:19He said he didn't want to stop.
02:20So I was just blown away by how rude it was.
02:27And then at the end, I asked him if we could slow down, take a break, and ended up just saying, you know what?
02:35I'm tired.
02:35I want to stop, basically.
02:38And I figured we're maybe a mile from the cars.
02:41And I figured he would, you know, turn around with me and make sure I got back to my car safely.
02:47But he told me to go ahead and go.
02:49And then he still wanted to keep riding.
02:52So I biked back to my car alone at the end of the date.
02:57Oh, no.
02:57That's how he ended the date?
02:58He just left you hanging?
02:59Yeah.
02:59Yeah, he just left.
03:01Wow.
03:02Yeah, that's not cool.
03:03It was rude.
03:04Yeah.
03:04It was really rude.
03:04We do have David on the phone with us, Bailey.
03:09Would you want to maybe bring him back on with us?
03:11I do.
03:11And kind of give us, kind of get his side of things?
03:15I would love that, actually.
03:17Yes, please.
03:17All right.
03:18Let's do that.
03:19David?
03:20Hey.
03:20So, I mean, I didn't think that that was, like, I wasn't leaving her.
03:24I just, you know, we just split off on the date.
03:27She said she was tired and she was going.
03:29So I figured, okay, I said, I'm going to keep riding.
03:31Not how dates work.
03:33Yeah, but you kind of want to make sure she gets back safe and she has a good time.
03:37You got to say your goodbyes and all that, you know?
03:39We were, like, a mile away from where we were.
03:41It wasn't that long.
03:42It was, like, you know, I mean, I thought it was no big deal at all.
03:46I mean, first of all, like, I'm a woman alone on a trail.
03:50It doesn't matter what time of day.
03:52Like, I'm alone, and so just from a safety standpoint, you should have taken me back.
03:59But also, it's a date.
04:00This isn't a scheduled workout.
04:03So why wouldn't you take me back to my car?
04:06Right.
04:07It was just a bike ride, and you said you didn't want to.
04:10You're, like, you know, I'm tired.
04:11I'm going to go.
04:12And, you know, I just figured that you were just, like, you know, go ahead.
04:16Don't worry about it.
04:17That's kind of what your attitude was.
04:18I thought it was just a bike ride.
04:21Like, you thought it was the Tour de France.
04:24That's insane.
04:25It was an active date.
04:26Like, that was the whole point of it.
04:27Like, your profile says, like, you're active.
04:30David, do you, like, go biking a lot on the Pinellas Trail?
04:33Sounds like it.
04:34Yeah.
04:35I mean, it's something I enjoy doing.
04:36That's why I was, like, there.
04:37And I was, like, I'd like to get my ride in because it's, like, I work a lot.
04:41Right.
04:41I mean, how many miles do you usually bike, though, when you go for a bike ride?
04:45I don't know.
04:46Maybe seven or ten.
04:47Did you kind of notice that she wasn't wearing the exact same thing that you were wearing?
04:51And maybe that she wasn't as serious about it?
04:53Yeah.
04:54Yeah, but, I mean, that's sometimes how people ride.
04:57That's what they want to do, right?
04:58It's not like a crazy ride.
04:59That's ten miles and flip-flops.
05:03We didn't do ten miles.
05:04We did, like, a mile, you know?
05:06No, it was not a mile.
05:08That is not what happened.
05:10But, yes, I am active.
05:13I own a bike.
05:15But I told you, like, I run.
05:17I swim.
05:18Like, I'm not.
05:19I didn't say I am a very serious biker.
05:22If I took you to a pool to do laps, I wouldn't leave you hanging and just go like I'm in the Olympics.
05:30Like, I would assess what your skill level was, and I would adjust to that.
05:35We're on a date.
05:35It's not a competition.
05:37I know, but if you were, like, if you're such a swimmer, like, being on a bike would be nothing.
05:42It's like you just rock.
05:43That's not the thing.
05:44It's like this guy's missing it.
05:45That's not the thing.
05:45Yeah.
05:46All right, let me ask you a question just for the sake of it.
05:49Bailey, what if you guys did something that was more like just dinner?
05:53Would you be willing to maybe hang out with David again?
05:56Because he did say you guys talked a little bit on the date, so maybe he was a nice guy.
06:00I don't know.
06:00Besides that, besides leaving you.
06:03So, I mean, would you be willing to see him again?
06:04No, I'm not going to go on another date with somebody who doesn't have consideration for me.
06:09He missed the mark so, so, so hard.
06:13No.
06:13All right.
06:14Well, David, now you know what's going on, man.
06:16Just sounds like a little miscommunication as far as what you guys were going to do on your first date,
06:20and there's not going to be a second date, so I'm sorry about that, man.
06:23You know, I don't know.
06:24I mean, I feel like Bailey should really change her profile to, like, be non-active.
