00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terri Carr. I am here with my good friend, Tammy,

00:07from one of my favorite rescues, North Star Pet Rescue. I love North Star, love being involved

00:13with them, love your dogs. When you told me that you had Trinity for, it cannot be two years because

00:20I absolutely won't believe it because she's such an awesome dog. She's, I love her. She's so

00:25beautiful and sweet and smart and amazing. She's a gorgeous Shepherd mix. Tell me a little

00:31bit about Trinity, and she's very unique too. Yes, she, well, we can have a whole segment just

00:36on Trinity for hours and hours and hours. I can talk about her, but the good stuff I will

00:40tell you is that she is house trained. She's crate trained. She loves everyone she meets.

00:46I would say her only advice is that she can't live with other dogs, nor does she want to

00:50live with other dogs, so she needs to be the only child in the household. But other than

00:55that, you, there's no dog that's more perfect than she is. She doesn't need a

00:59lot of exercise. She doesn't need long walks. She pretty much is just the easiest

01:06doggy alone. She's so friendly and she has these beautiful satiny ears too. I just love

01:11her ears. Yeah, I know. I love her ears too. Now she also, which you will see in our video,

01:14has a very unique trait because when Trinity came into North Star, she had a wound on the

01:19back of her paw that the shelter tried to get under control for a really, really, really long

01:24time. So she's kind of missing, but just like a little tiny clip of her foot. She has no clue

01:28that there's a little clip of her foot missing. Correct. Which is very interesting because you'll

01:32see her and she's just around and everywhere and just amazing, but a very unique quality in

01:37this beautiful dog. She'll never be able to put the foot completely down, but like, like you said,

01:43it does not bother her in the least. She doesn't seem to care. Yeah, dogs are incredibly resilient

01:47and this dog definitely deserves a great home. As you can see, she's a Velcro dog and very

01:51people-focused. Oh, she loves people. Let's check out Trinity interacting with our staff

02:03She's absolutely gorgeous, super friendly, loves to hang by your side, very people-focused and

02:09extremely affectionate. Trinity is also kid-friendly and would do great in just about any household.

02:15She loves making new friends. The only thing? Trinity would prefer to be the only pet at home.

02:22Trinity is also very unique in that her back paw is missing a little piece of paw, but she doesn't

02:29know it and neither will you. She only has a slight limp and it never seems to bother her. She's still

02:34the happiest girl around. Trinity has been waiting for two long years for a family to call her own

02:40and we can't figure out why. She's an absolutely excellent girl in her foster home, is fully

02:45housebroken, and doesn't require a lot of exercise or walking either. So if you're a couch potato

02:51lover, Trinity could be a great dog for your household. Looking for a beautiful shepherd to

02:56join your family pack? Trinity just may be the dog for you. Adopt Trinity.

03:01Yes, we're just loving on Trinity. I mean, there's really no way not to. Tammy made a great point to me

03:06off camera. If you are not, we always say like, oh, the dog would make a great walking or running

03:11partner. Some people don't want a walking or running partner. Some people are kind of looking

03:16for their dog to just hang out with them. Trinity, Tammy said, is a dog that kind of likes to go out,

03:22do what she's got to do, do her business, come back in and hang out with you. So if you're more of

03:27that couch potato type, this dog just may be the right fit for you. Because let me tell you,

03:34if you don't feel like walking on hot summer days and your dog is just going to go out and do their

03:38business and stuff, she's just a great girl. I mean, just look at her. She just loves to get

03:43loving. Touch her all over. Yeah, you can do anything to her. You know, any WDHA staff member

03:48that's around, she's like, can I meet them? Can I meet them? Now, Tam, if people want to reach out

04:14is online. I cannot imagine that this dog has been with the rescue for two years. She's just

04:20absolutely incredible. A lot of people don't want to be a multiple dog household. One dog is good for

04:25them. This dog has amazing qualities. She's great with people. She's good with kids. She's very

04:30patient, gentle. And as you saw in our video piece, super, super smart. Yes. You had a treat. It went in

04:39the water bowl. She went, she did a little kind of apple dunking in the water bowl and got herself the

04:43treat. I love this dog. Let's get her into a home because she truly deserves it. And she's super,
