Chris is fostering Katie Girl. Katie Girl has been fostered with you and with Northstar

for a while now. I can't figure out why, because she's such a fantastic dog. So, Chris, tell

us a little bit about Katie Girl. She got big since last time I saw her at Adoption

Day. And again, I'm so surprised that she still has not been adopted. She's like the

perfect pup. Yes, absolutely. And thank you for having us today. We really appreciate

it. We've had Katie Girl since St. Patrick's Day, actually. So, she's been up. She came

up from West Virginia in February. When she first arrived, she was four months and 25 pounds.

Now she's a nine-month-old pup. She weighs about 60 pounds. But she's an amazing dog. We love

having her in the house. She is just playful, as you can see right now. She's cuddling all

the time. She just loves the attention. But, you know, she's got a lot of energy. Loves

her going on walks, jogs, you name it. She's just a wonderful dog. And we're really hopeful

that we can find the right forever home for her. You know, it's been a while, but it's

been great to have her.

I've seen her at events, and I've seen her interacting with kids. I think you've got

some young people in your home, right? Because I remember seeing her, I think, was it with

No. So, I have two boys. We have teenage boys, and she's wonderful with children.

So, yeah. So, obviously, at our adoption day, there was someone else holding her or whatever.

And she's just great. She seems like she's great with people of all ages. Love her energy

level because she likes to play. And she's still a puppy. And she's a great walking partner.

And look at the little, you know what I love about this dog? She's got like this little crinkle

on her eye that makes you just fall madly in love with her. So, let's check out Katie

Meet Katie Girl from North Star Pet Rescue, a favorite pup of mine. Katie Girl is a red

bone coonhound mix and is not yet a year old and just a perfect pup. She's friendly.

She's sociable. She's not too big. She's not too small. She loves going for walks. She

loves other dogs. It's fine with cats and kids. How awesome is that?

The one mystery to me is why has Katie Girl not been adopted yet? She's with an

awesome foster family. She's energetic and playful. And you bet. She loves to cuddle

and smooch. Absolutely. I just love Katie Girl. Her foster family has the greatest

things to say about her. And so do we. If you are looking for a young, but not too

young, fantastic pup to add to your pack, Katie Girl just may be the dog for you.
