00:21i can take them yeah they're old and weak yeah but that doesn't hold true all the time

00:43not worth as much as it was before today's badass is an 80 year old store owner in california

00:57he was targeted by would-be robbers while he turned the tables on them by firing before they

01:08had a chance to and blowing one of the bad guy's arms right off

01:13insane and it's all caught on video yeah oh yeah here's the story of how this one played out

01:54that's right alex christine i can tell you that almost everyone in this town

02:00is very proud of the way this business owner handled himself there were four armed robbers and they

02:06were parked right here by the time they went inside they got the surprise of their lives

02:18it's a shooting the bad guys never saw coming

02:24an 80 year old man defense his business after armed robbers storm into norco market and liquor

02:31he gets what he deserves so pieces done the shooting happened on sunday at 2 47 a.m in the 800 block of

02:416th street the owner was standing right here watching all of the action on the security camera as soon as

02:49he saw one of those guys pull the mask over his face he knew trouble was headed his way he just

02:55prepared himself he prepared himself and he stood right here and he just aimed aimed and shot the

03:01rifle and hit the robber in the arm not a surprise to some customers you know i'm not for gun violence

03:09but uh he wasn't the one getting he wasn't the one doing the violence the people that came in

03:15were the ones doing the violence and that's what we need to understand in our society when people

03:18are doing violence against us we have the right to protect ourselves i've seen him a couple of times

03:23while i've been here and honestly i can kind of expect that from him he seems like a pretty bad old

03:29man yeah it's crazy um play stupid games win stupid prizes and uh his arm probably not working right

03:41anymore no took a rifle shot to it so his buddy the accomplice there as soon as he heard him scream

03:48he ran right back into the car oh yeah they almost left without him too yeah they did like and they

03:53were like stopped and he got in or whatever but the old guy's an incredible shot yeah oh yeah he is

04:00because the story says a shotgun like when i oh so it was probably a shotgun but that's like 20 yards or

04:06something yeah a guy with a like a buckshot shot yeah i yeah i don't know what i yeah

04:11yeah it would have mincemeated his arm though that picture they got of him hi i'll kill you

04:24in california it's out of control right we've been talking about it like the crime spree there is just

04:29and as she said like people just think they can take whatever they want yeah there's no repercussions

04:34and but most times it's not like that most times it's just a bunch of people run inside of a place and

04:40they strip it down and there's so many people you can't even dream of stopping any of them

04:45uh that guy came in with like a very expensive gun and then he got his arm blown off so

05:11two days after taking on four armed robbers 80 year old crack jimmy page is back at work

05:18at norco market and liquor were you ever afraid no i didn't have time to be afraid

05:26it was all fast i mean literally from the time they got out of that car to where they came in was at most

05:3210 seconds he plans to continue working and says if his business were to be targeted again by armed

05:38robbers he won't hesitate to shoot your message to the bad guys this isn't a good place to pick

05:48he's even more of a badass than i realized two days after having a heart attack he's back at the

05:53freaking store i feel great let me out come on he's like a mellow badass yeah he is yeah that's sometimes

06:00like a clint eastwood type you know like soft-spoken calm but will blow you to pieces

06:07that guy's lucky the dude that tried to rob him when he saw that he pulled a gun up

06:15he turned sideways and when he turned sideways the bullet hit his arm like here he would have

06:23blasted him straight in the chest yeah like he would he would have been dead dead he's lucky he just

06:29possibly lost an arm yeah and i think i read something that he didn't really lose his arm but

06:35it was like shredded like shot so badly that it just probably he didn't feel it anymore you know

06:46well that's what you get that's what you get i'm not for gun violence but in this situation this guy

06:51had to defend himself yeah those guys had massive weapons they were coming in they were going to take

06:55everything yeah he just had to defend his store what really i think saved the day was the cameras

07:03that they had set up because the cameras gave him time to be ready for what was going to happen and

07:10then he had the tools to defend himself he's in that store 80 years old by himself at like 2 30 in the

07:16morning yeah he needs cameras yeah he needs a heads up of what's about to come through that door that was

07:21it was it was like really lucky because you know an old guy is just going to look at that screen all

07:25night yeah oh for sure you know that's his tv he's just watching the outside those are his stories you

07:31know i'm watching my story yeah yeah you know but it paid off for him there saved us he's alive and

07:39otherwise it may not have turned out the same way
