Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a woman who thought she might have found the Detroit Zoo's 5-month-old missing wallaby but it turned out to be a squirrel with mange.

00:00I don't know, we told you about this wallaby, baby wallaby that went missing from the Detroit

00:12Zoo.

00:13They just assumed that a bird of prey swooped down and killed it, took it, right?

00:19Well, they had a hopeful moment the other day.

00:24They had asked people in the surrounding area when this first happened to keep their eyes

00:28peeled for the five-month-old animal, and one older broad Margaret thought she found it.

00:36I got it.

00:37It's here.

00:39She believed it was on the roof of her home.

00:41I don't know how, but it jumped the wallaby it's got, or it was dropped by a hawk.

00:51Here's what was on Margaret's roof.

00:53Well, hell, you don't see that every day, though, Dave.

01:00It's a hairless squirrel, isn't it?

01:04It's a gray squirrel with no hair, but they believe it has mange.

01:12I've never seen anything like that.

01:13Yeah, it's a squirrel has fur on just its head, and the rest of its body looks like Dr. Evil's cat.

01:20Honestly, I think this is how, like, chupacabra and stuff like that, this is how those kind of legends spread.

01:29But, like, I'm sorry.

01:31I saw this story come up over the weekend, and I'm not by any means an animal expert.

01:38But when I saw that picture, I knew immediately that was not a baby kangaroo.

01:45What is the matter with this person to think that maybe that's the baby wallaby?

01:50But it is obvious that that is a six squirrel.

01:52Well, maybe you're an older lady with not good eyesight, and it's not adding up.

01:57And also, knowing the distance of how far this baby wallaby would have had to travel from the zoo to be on this woman's roof is insane.

02:08The fact that the news came out.

02:13This lady found the wallaby.

02:14The baby wallaby's on her roof.

02:16And then they show up, and it's a sick squirrel.

02:19Like, maybe ask the lady to text you a photo before you round up the whole crew and send out the whole crew out there to cover it.

02:26It is one-tenth the size, even of this five-month-old wallaby.

02:32I mean, the wallaby's way bigger.

02:35It's a bizarre sight.

02:37It would have had to travel 24 miles away to appear at this lady's house.

02:42A hawk or whatever must have grabbed it and flew a hell of a long way.
