Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about delivery drivers eating customers food and then Andy mentions a guy he used to work with at a restaurant who would eat leftover food out of the bus tubs.

00:00up next is one of the big fears when you order food that the driver is going to get into it

00:10it's the number one fear that's why i don't do it it's not that uncommon a new survey

00:16um found that of 500 delivery drivers yeah they surveyed 28 of them admitted to taking

00:24food from a delivery when asked if they're often tempted by the smell of the food they

00:29deliver over half said yes oh i couldn't do the job man i know it no there's no way everyone's food

00:35so i would just be so hungry i wouldn't eat their food but i would be i would be a thousand pounds

00:40the question they also asked was this if you ordered a burger and fries and the deliverer

00:45grabbed a few fries along the way how upset would you be uh what's the scale with one being no big

00:51deal to 10 meaning absolutely unacceptable 12 yeah it's unacceptable you can't because to me i just

00:58i can't even imagine what your fingernails look like i can't even imagine what you've touched

01:04what you've scratched and then you've you've reached in and and touched all the fries around the ones you

01:11actually grabbed what i don't understand is you're trusting your food which is like one of the most

01:15important things to be a human and live yep to somebody that's gonna make uh like two dollars for

01:20a 45 minute drive yeah you're right the key is to order food that no one wants to eat right what

01:26do you mean that's what's so hard so you know like not burgers and fries yeah that's what's tough you

01:31know like octopus i do but i don't have i never have problems when i do food delivery the average

01:38response was 8.4 out of 10 by the way the people that said that how upset they'd be if the driver

01:45started eating their food 8.4 out of 10 but there's still some people that obviously it's not

01:49like it's bad but not the end of the world i just would much rather pay like a way higher price for

01:54them to deliver it i try for some reason maybe i'm wrong because for some reason i trust like uh

01:59a restaurant that has their own delivery people well because that person's locked into that restaurant

02:05yeah compared to like a doordash i feel like there's more accountability yeah when consumers were

02:09asked if they would like restaurants to use tamper evident labels to address the issue 85 responded yes

02:15but again 15 percent are like whatever yeah yeah there's people that i don't think that bother

02:20those are the kind of people that'll grab the like roller grill stuff and i'm the opposite of that where

02:24i'm like oh any nobody around the food yeah yeah you don't mind roller grill stuff james but when it

02:31comes to food delivery how upset would you be if they took a couple of your fries oh if they took some

02:35of my food i'd be furious yeah you know um like i was all on board with the the like food delivery

02:40stuff too until i had a bad you know situation a really really dirty person delivered some food

02:47and i had diarrhea for the weekend so get only you only associated yeah a weekend of diarrhea i'm

02:55drawing conclusions to the delivery guys you know it's the one that calls the diarrhea what if i got

02:59cheesy nacho fries and then a guy reached in there with like he had just gone to the bathroom he doesn't

03:07wash his hands coming from taco bell yeah delicious my delicious belly and you stuck your fingers in

03:13there i'm gonna cut your hand off um see and people are going back and forth here someone said what's

03:16the difference you know waitstaff is stealing your french fries and onion rings at a restaurant before

03:20they bring you the food what's the difference they shouldn't be of course they shouldn't where

03:23are you eating at most icely cantina yeah exactly yeah i i would assume most restaurants frown upon

03:32a waiter or waitress eating your food before they bringing before they bring it out to the table

03:36yeah that's not that can never have you got busted doing that one like when we worked at red lobster

03:40if anyone was caught doing that you'd be gone yeah no you couldn't eat that i did i will admit that i

03:45had i had some time with the cheddar bay biscuits oh sure secret times but not out of people's baskets

03:50just no yeah no they were yourself exactly i'm actually more comfortable with with restaurants that

03:55are open you know we can see a lot of stuff my favorite yeah i i i like that let's keep everything

04:02on the up and up yeah i like seeing someone after like off of a tray eat bread or something

04:09yeah where was that great yeah yeah it was it was like some old food so right so they were clearing

04:17the table like bread or something like that leftovers from the people yeah i knew a guy that did that

04:21and then we saw alisa and i were watching the guy just shove it right into his big old pie hole

04:26i've seen a dude eat out of a bus tub before oh god oh the tub oh the tubs they were the grossest of

04:32things yeah this guy was nasty dude he'd eat all the stuff he'd eat it off people's plates and stuff

04:37mixed together brutal brutal scene yeah yeah jesus and yeah i did not like that guy bus tubs

04:45yeah the bus tubs have to be the most dirty food receptacles they're so awful there'd be dishes and

04:51stuff with food on them in the bus tubs and he would he would grab food off my god you should have

04:55put him down you should have got your dad to put him down i feel like there's just a liquid on the

04:59bottom of that bus there was yeah like it's that that that bus juice yep good old-fashioned a lot of

05:06those bus tubs around yeah see them my son actually just got a job being a busser he has his own

05:11little bus tub oh man because there's nothing more unappealing than seeing that roll down

05:15no by your table i used to be a busser i hated it yeah it's like there it goes i felt like a monster

05:23of the other people i'm like look away i'm here to get away i'm here to bless you i'm the piece of

05:28trash that's here to gather your old plates and i'm gonna wipe it down with this dirty rag that

05:35provided me my employer provided me a dirty rag you're like the quasimodo of a throw at work

05:42you guys want some bus juice yeah oh sorry be gone customers have to see me they're holding up

05:49crosses at you yeah holy water like weird creepy noise yeah the noise it makes here it comes look out it's

05:59the busser sorry about this bussy moto look away you gotta have the tables cleaned what's wrong with

06:06him everything cover the child's eyes i've been bussing tables for 47 years don't look at him

06:22everybody uh bussy moto get in the back cake right here in the tub no no no no bussy moto not bad

06:28cake someone's gonna get you guys some fresh cake okay he got his blue rag juice on me oh not again

06:35bussy moto man taking this manager job at the restaurant was a mistake yeah i hated bussing tables

06:40i don't know so some of the worst work there is i i'll be sorry my youngest job no i will say this

06:48too though i scrutinize like when i see the bussing start say i'm at a table and and this table these

06:56people have decided to leave i will watch the people clean and i'm always shocked by there's like

07:03different kind of but i guess i was a busser at bob evans which is an extra terrible place to be

07:07oh my god look at how wow that thing's spotless people were setting you up with their daughters

07:26and stuff you know he only left two onions stuck to the table that's pretty good there was the lady

07:31that greeted people at that bob evans had the smoker lady voice oh it was deep oh my god she's like

07:38welcome to bob evans oh my god i'm gonna need a lot of weed to get through these years

07:48that was minor workings coming this halloween bussy moto the bob evans busser that was brutal times

07:58that i can get it i can understand that would be tough you're done with your sunshine skin
