00:00Riff TV presents Meltdown's Meltdown.
00:08Hey guys, class is in session.
00:11February 29th is coming up this weekend.
00:13Of course, that's leap year.
00:14Only happens every four years.
00:15And I thought we'd go back and look at some historic events that took place on leap years.
00:21It was on February 29th, 1692 that the first people were accused of practicing witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts.
00:27Of course, that led to the inspiration for a lot of Rob Zombie music.
00:33In 1968, the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper record was the first rock album ever to win a Grammy.
00:43On February 28th, 1980, the legendary Gordie Howe scored his 800th NHL goal while playing for the Hartford Whalers.
00:53The way I look at it, that's 800 more goals than I scored in the NHL.
00:57Oh, and by the way, in 1964, this guy was born.
01:15Happy 14th birthday to one of our engineers, Ron.
01:19Hope it's a good one there, brother.
01:20And now you're jam-packed with all sorts of February 29th knowledge.
01:24You can impress your friends at a party this weekend.
01:27You're welcome.
