Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a gas station clerk who fought off a robber in Port Huron, Michigan and how the news report had trouble translating what the guy was saying about the attack.

00:00off now to port huron michigan where clerk said not on his watch when someone tried to rob the

00:12gas station store he was working at uh suspect walked in tried to rob clerk wasn't having it

00:18fought back for like a minute and a half this goes on inside this gas station and here's the story

00:24from wdiv tv you can see this man dressed in all black walk inside the store to the cash register

00:30and place the black bag on the counter yeah he gave money okay here's the money

00:35muhammad i am sorry muhammad we missed that and we could just go back for a second here

00:42give you money okay here's the money i don't know that's several words they put on the screen

00:48was not what he said they didn't know what he said they just made it up literally just

00:52surmised what they thought he said because what he said was

00:57and they wrote down muhammad said

01:05he said can we have all the money put the money in the bag

01:10take the money from the cashier or something yeah he said they said he said yeah he asked for the

01:25money and he went for the cashier yeah which is not at all not at all he was trying to say

01:32what happened muhammad muhammad said a man dressed in all black came to the cash register

01:47the money he demanded the money what happened after that

01:52run i defended the store's money says muhammad okay was it a long struggle

02:08lasted over one minute and thirty seconds as he struggled to get the money back

02:14from the man here's more of the story he even puts the suspect in a chokehold

03:05to fight and although the suspect is clearly losing in this battle he still tries to get the money

03:11is he are you really losing a fight when you're still getting the money

03:14and with one last attack muhammad was able to grab the guy and escort him out of the store

03:19where another customer helped muhammad will hold him

03:22hold on the robber has the money in his hand and he's just helping him outside now

03:28no like honestly i believe the the robber is literally just leaving

03:33with this guy attached to his back

03:36like he's trying like he's gonna take it back right yeah he's he's at no time was that robber

03:44in any danger of losing this fight no oh my god no that's incredible muhammad at one point

03:50slammed him down but muhammad's a slow fighter yeah it's not like frantic he's like nope you're going

03:58down to the thing he's like we're gonna want that i really just think the guy was more annoyed

04:03by muhammad he was like he just he just he carried him to one side of the store and then he carried

04:22him carried muhammad back to the cash register got all the money out then carried muhammad right out
