01:01police are asking residents to think twice before flushing their meth down the toilet

01:05officers with the loretta police department in tennessee arrested a man named andy perry

01:09after he tried to dispose of 12 grams of meth

01:1224 fluid ounces of liquid meth and other items

01:15he was charged with drug possession with intent for resale and other charges

01:20in a facebook post announcing the arrest police asked residents to avoid doing that

01:25they say when you send something down the sewer pipe it ends up in our retention ponds for processing before it's sent downstream

01:30now our sewer guys take great pride in releasing water that is cleaner than what is in the creek but they're not prepared for meth
