00:15Tracy, how long have you worked with members of Smart Local 292?
00:18We've been incorporated since 1952, so 64 years this year.
00:23And what are some of the benefits you find working with the union members?
00:27Flexible labor pool, safety orientated, and they come to work every day ready to work.
00:32Now you've got some projects that you're working on across the country,
00:35and these guys are helping you out in other aspects other than just the sheet metal.
00:39Can you tell us more about that?
00:40Yeah, we bring 292 workers to each of our sites, and they oversee not only the sheet metal portion,
00:46but they get involved with electrical, piping, mechanical work, millwright work, and so on.
00:52Not just strictly sheet metal work.
00:54And what's the relationship and your partnership like between contractor and the union?
00:59Everyone gets along pretty well?
01:00We get along really well.
01:01We have a great partnership, have had for 74 years this year.
01:05We get along very well putting together safety programs and working out the best ways to facilitate the installation.
01:14Our schedules get quicker and faster and faster, and they've been an integral part of modular build
01:20and different things that we're using in our construction techniques that are now going all over the world.
