00:55Indian River County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home in Vero Beach, Florida,
00:58about a stolen vehicle and possible armed robbery.
01:01Christopher Blaudis told police that he was sleeping when a man named Marcus, who he has
01:05helped in the past, stopped by and asked for a ride.
01:09Blaudis said he was too tired to drive and he said, go find another ride somewhere.
01:14He asked him to leave his house.
01:16The other guy became more aggressive and said, I need an effing ride.
01:20Marcus then tried to shove the guy.
01:23That's when Christopher Blaudis said he just pretended to fall, laid on the ground, and
01:28pretended to be dead in the hopes he would just leave.
01:31We could all do that at such a certain point.
