Today, Meltdown asks some fellow co-workers what band they're a super-fan of. Plus Jeff Gutt from Stone Temple Pilots makes his homecoming as lead singer if that iconic band.

00:11Recently on my social media pages, I asked the question,

00:14what band are you a super fan of?

00:16The response was overwhelming.

00:18I thought it'd be fun to go and talk to some of my co-workers

00:20and see what bands they're super fans of.

00:24Alright, we're here with Jade.

00:25Jade, what band would you say you're a super fan of?

00:27Everybody knows I'm a huge super fan of Hill Satan, baby.

00:31A little ghost in my life.

00:33Yeah, a ghost, man. A new record, Pre-Kell, is pretty awesome.

00:35Yes, it's absolutely amazing.

00:37We're here with Eric. He kind of works behind the scenes in promotions.

00:40Also takes a lot of the pictures that you see on these videos on the website as well.

00:43So what band would you say you're a super fan of?

00:45One of my all-time favorite bands, I'd have to say, is Deftones.

00:48But the band I've seen the most, I'd have to say Hate Freedom.

00:52I was going to say Steel Panther, but...

00:54That might be yours.

00:55It is.

00:56Here we are with Lauren Gahn.

00:57She's the executive assistant.

01:00And what band would you say you're a super fan of?

01:02Leonard Skinner.

01:03And how many times have you seen that?

01:04Actually, 15.

01:05Okay. Now I just have one question for you.

01:08What song is it you want to hear?

01:10Freebird!

01:12We're here with sales manager Mike Broadwell.

01:14What band would you say you're a super fan of?

01:16Well, Iron Maiden and Avenged Sevenfold.

01:18I have stuff on the wall here in my office.

01:22And even at home, I have Avenged Sevenfold poster that's autographed by all the members of the band.

01:28And it was autographed by The Rev, who, you know, their original drummer.

01:31So that's what I really like.

01:32This is Stephanie Taylor.

01:34She works in our digital apartment.

01:35What band are you a super fan of?

01:37I would say Alice in Chains.

01:39Big band.

01:40Alice in Chains.

01:40That works.

01:41And Shined Out.

01:43Oh, yeah.

01:44They were just here last week as well.

01:46And Alter Bridge.

01:47Okay, Alter Bridge.

01:50That's another good one.

01:58Hey, Stone Temple Pilots was in town this week.

02:00I had Jeff Goode on my Radio Chatter podcast.

02:03We talked about a lot of things.

02:04I mean, making his triumphant return to the Motor City as the lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots.

02:10Here's what he had to say.

02:11Yeah, man.

02:12It's going to be great, you know.

02:13The return and the first show with SCP as our singer.

02:16And, I mean, you know, playing the clubs and bars around here forever.

02:21And, you know, putting in the time.

02:24And it's just been great, you know.

02:28It's no coincidence that Stone Temple Pilots headlined the show Tuesday night at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater at Freedom Hill.

02:35He got the okay from the other bands to headline the show in his hometown.

02:39Yeah, tonight we are.

02:41You know, I put in the word, you know, when this whole thing came together.

02:45I'm like, hey, we do Detroit.

02:47We have to go last.

02:50So, they gave it to us.
