00:04the Last One Dies.
00:05You know, I decided to make Till the Last One Dies my next single.
00:09There was another song that was sort of in the running that was Tempo, and we were kind
00:14of on the fence about which one because we loved both of them.
00:17And it really came down to the fact that, you know, again, it has been a while since
00:22I've put out a straight down the middle love song that's a ballad for everybody.
00:28And I just thought the message on this one was so perfect.
00:31Everybody that I've played it for that I know, you know, one of the first things I do is
00:35bounce songs off of my friends.
00:37I went to every single one of my friends, male, female, whatever, that were married
00:40or in a relationship, and they were all just like blown away by this song.
00:44So I was like, okay, we got to go with this one first.
00:46It's just too perfect.
00:47The creative process for Till the Last One Dies was interesting because, you know, I
00:52didn't write this song.
00:53It's one of the few on the record that I didn't have a hand at writing and just really fell
00:58in love with it.
00:59I haven't really done a true, like, wedding-style love song for many, many years, surprisingly.
01:05I've had some ballads out there, but not one that has this kind of impact.
01:09And just got in the studio, and it just came to life.
01:12So it was a really, really easy process once we found that song.
01:16You know, with Till the Last One Dies, I hope the thing that fans take away from this is
01:21this gets a slot in their, you know, top 10, their favorite songs to listen to, because
01:26that's always the thing that I'm chasing as an artist.
01:29I know that everybody's going to have, like, a list of songs that they cycle through, and
01:33I just hope this will mix into that list.
