00:00Saturday Night Live has something to say about Morgan Wallen's abrupt exit from the NBC sketch
00:05show over the weekend. Wallen performed two songs on Saturday Night's show from his upcoming album
00:11I'm The Problem, including the title track and Just In Case. During the closing credits,
00:20Wallen was seen standing next to guest host Mikey Madison, a newly minted Best Actress Oscar winner
00:26for her role in Enora. After Madison gave her outro, Wallen then gave her a hug,
00:31said something in her ear, and abruptly walked off the stage.
00:35Afterward, he posted on his Instagram stories an image of what looked like a private jet on
00:40the runway with the caption, Get me to God's Country. SNL writer Josh Patton poked fun at
00:45the post with his own photo posted to Instagram. The photo showed a Krispy Kreme truck with the
00:50back end open and the same caption, Get me to God's Country, that Wallen used.
00:55Wallen has not responded for comment or explained the meaning behind his post.
00:59Wallen's appearance on SNL marked his second ever on the show and his first since he was caught on
01:04video using the N-word. He later apologized, but his career suffered a temporary setback,
01:10with radio stations dropping him from airwaves and being uninvited from award shows.
01:14Still, he has remained one of country music's most successful artists.
