00:00Hello, here's your latest weather update from the Met Office. I'm Marco Britania. We're
00:04starting the new working week on a fairly chilly note, especially across rural spots
00:07of England and Wales, with a touch of frost in places. But to compensate for that, we're
00:11seeing plenty of sunshine too, and we'll hold on to a good deal of sunshine, certainly across
00:14the south and east of the UK as we head through the day on Monday. Always more in the way
00:18of cloud the further north and north-west you go, that cloud thick enough towards the
00:21north and west of Scotland especially to give some patchy rain at times, and quite breezy
00:25here as well. Perhaps an isolated shower elsewhere across Northern Ireland, Scotland, but generally
00:29speaking not too bad a day. But always the best of the sunshine, as I say, the further
00:33south-east you go, and with lighter winds towards the south-east, feeling pleasantly
00:36warm in that sunshine during the afternoon. We'll see highs during the afternoon up to
00:4016 or 17 Celsius. 17 there in London is 63 in Fahrenheit. Perhaps a Murray Firth in Scotland
00:46there, also peaking and around about 17 or 18 degrees, but generally speaking it's the
00:50north-west of Scotland seeing the coolest temperatures, no better than 12 or 13 degrees
00:54given the cloud, the breeze and that patchy rain too. As we head into the evening and
00:58through the overnight period, cloud will start to filter away northwards from the UK, last
01:03to clear from Scotland, but certainly into the early hours of Tuesday, a lot of clear
01:06weather to come across the UK. We'll pay the price over those clearer skies with a touch
01:10of frost forming by Tuesday morning, especially in rural spots, you can see temperatures dip
01:14just below freezing. Most towns and city temperatures holding a few degrees above zero though. As
01:19for Tuesday itself, well after that chilly start, perhaps with the odd mist or fog patch
01:23in places, plenty of sunshine around, in fact pretty much wall-to-wall sunshine across the
01:27bulk of the UK. There will be more breeze around, notice the breeze there coming in
01:30from the east and south-east, which will take the temperatures a peg back a little bit near
01:34to some North Sea coasts and along the English Channel, but certainly out across western
01:38and north-western spots and many inland areas too. Temperatures doing quite well once again,
01:43peaking at around about 16 or 17, perhaps even locally 18 Celsius, which is into the
01:4760s in Fahrenheit. That's pretty much it from me, but of course you can keep tuned to the
01:51Met Office forecast by following us on social media and by subscribing to our YouTube channel.
01:56I'll see you soon, take care for now, bye bye.
