00:00I'm Lola.
00:01I'm Dominic.
00:02We're judged because we swap genders.
00:04We definitely face more judgment on social media.
00:07That's a man.
00:09I love seeing two men happily in love.
00:12So you are straight then.
00:14So the real woman is the man and the real man is a woman.
00:18My name is Rae LaTrey.
00:19I had all the Rae reservations about their relationship.
00:21I thought that they were going to ruin each other's lives.
00:23I was completely gacked because I had separate conversations with both of you about staying away from each other.
00:32I'm Dominic.
00:33This is my girlfriend Lola.
00:34We're going to have kids but I don't plan on carrying them.
00:36We're judged because we swap genders.
00:39I started transitioning about five years ago.
00:42I have not had any surgery.
00:44Just a few modifications to my face.
00:47I started my transition ten years ago.
00:50I'm just on hormones and I've had top surgery.
00:53I never thought I would date a trans man.
00:56I never thought that I would date another trans person because I feel like society has expectations of who trans people should date.
01:03Dating a trans person has helped with my own journey by just the comfortability and the understanding.
01:10We definitely face more judgment on social media than anything.
01:15Like all the time.
01:17I feel like judgment amongst the trans community in general is always name calling back to the gender at birth.
01:24Which is like, that's old.
01:26Come up with something else.
01:27That is clearly a man so please don't insult real women.
01:31That's a man.
01:33I love seeing two men happily in love.
01:36So y'all are straight then.
01:38So the real woman is the man and the real man is a woman.
01:42Okay, got it.
01:44This is why I get so confused about this community and the dating process.
01:48A lot of the trolls on our posts and stuff, when it comes to the straight with extra steps thing.
01:55I think that's hilarious.
01:57It's funny, but they're always focused on body parts.
02:02Which is nobody's business.
02:05I don't let the negative comments stick with me because then I'm carrying that around on top of the weight that I already have carrying around being trans.
02:12So I just kind of let it go.
02:15I've been doing social media for like 8 years, 9 years.
02:19So the negative comments and stuff like that, I don't really pay attention to them that much.
02:24I realized I wanted to transition when I was 12.
02:27I was a tomboy growing up and I was around a lot of older people that were tomboyish too.
02:35I thought that I was just a lesbian.
02:37And then I kind of just started asking myself, why do I feel like this?
02:44And then eventually I found the trans community.
02:48I was googling, I feel like a boy trapped in a girl's body.
02:51And then next thing you know, there's all these YouTubers and they're talking about how they feel and what they're going through.
02:57And I was like, this is exactly what I feel like.
02:59I feel like I've always known.
03:01Growing up, I had all the Barbie dolls.
03:03I was into the hair, the makeup.
03:07But I wasn't educated or I didn't know what transgender or trans was.
03:14Our friend Rhea is coming over today and we're going to discuss her opinions on our relationship.
03:19She is a wild card, so you never know what she's going to say.
03:22My name is Rhea LaTrey. I am drag's baddest bitch.
03:25And I am one of Lola and Dominic's best friends.
03:28I had all the Rhea-servations about their relationship.
03:31I thought that they were too young and they have too much to do and too much to accomplish before they allow other people into their lives.
03:37But as in true Dominic and Lola fashion, they don't listen.
03:42I thought that they were going to ruin each other's lives.
03:49As-salamu alaykum!
03:51Hey!
03:52You know I had to stop by and get some dinner up in here.
03:56Hi Dom!
03:58Hi Lola!
03:59So what did you think when you found out that we were officially?
04:02I was completely gaxxed because I had separate conversations with both of you about staying away from each other.
04:08Because I knew the magnetism was there, but I didn't want it to derail you guys from your paths.
04:14Did you ever see yourself finding another trans person to hug up with?
04:19No, definitely I didn't think. I never thought that I'd be with another trans person.
04:23I think it was a Monday night. You met Lola and the next day you hit me up and you're like,
04:28So tell me about this Lola girl. Tell me about her. Tell me about her.
04:31And I was like, No. I ain't telling you nothing. Stay away from her.
04:37And like most of my friends, they never take my advice.
04:40But in this case, I'm glad you didn't.
04:43In this current climate that we live in, this future is scary.
04:48But it can be beautiful. Do you guys want to have kids? Do you guys want to get married?
04:52Yeah, we definitely want to get married and definitely want to have kids.
04:55But it's gonna be a process. It's gonna be, you know.
04:59Do you think you're gonna have kids the old fashioned way?
05:01No.
05:02No.
05:03We're gonna just have a baby.
05:05Yeah.
05:06We're gonna carry it. Let me know.
05:09Yeah, I think we'll do a surrogate.
05:14If I can't carry because of medical reasons, why wouldn't you carry?
05:18I just don't want to push a human out of my body.
05:22And I also don't want a belly. I don't want a human child inside of my stomach.
05:26I definitely don't want to give birth.
05:29There's so much that goes on during that process that I don't want to go through.
05:32I don't ever want him to do anything that he doesn't want to do.
05:35I mean, that's a lie.
05:37Carrying a baby is hard on the body.
05:39And also, especially being trans, there could be complications.
05:44And I don't want to put him at risk.
05:46At first, I was kind of like, you need to carry the baby.
05:51But I was, you know, set in my ways.
05:54And I didn't do my research where we could have a surrogate or have a lab.
06:00A lab grown baby?
06:02Yeah, a lab grown baby.
06:03So what do you think about our relationship now as opposed to when we first got together?
06:09Baby, let me tell you, I am living for you guys.
06:12I am living so hard.
06:14I feel like there might be some kind of magic that's going to happen in my life where I can finally meet somebody.
06:21I really respect you guys individually and as a couple.
06:25So thank you.
06:27Oh, my God, the time has come.
06:29I've got to go.
06:30Half past the freckle.
06:31It's Drag Razz brunch today.
06:33And I'm going to be a little bit late, but it was worth it.
06:36I love you so much.
06:37I love you so much as well.
06:38I'm going to take this cut.
06:41Bye.
06:42I love you.
06:43I love you too.
06:44Bye, Waila.
06:45Be safe.
06:46Today we're going to go to Beverly Hills to see the Dirt King, Dr. Lana McCarroll, to
06:50see about feminizing my face non-surgically.
06:54We have sort of a busy life, so I don't have time to be recovering and mummified right now.
07:07Well, hey, Lola, welcome today.
07:09I'm so glad that you're here.
07:10Let's talk about what brings you in.
07:12As we've spoken about, I want to feminize my face with minimal downtime.
07:19Absolutely.
07:20I'm going to put the magical wand of dermatology in front of you, right?
07:23And so there's certain areas that we can really focus in on.
07:26We're looking at, of course, more lateralization of the cheeks, right?
07:30Okay, being able to give you more lifting up of those zones.
07:33That's really going to create more of that feminization that we're looking for, right?
07:37In regards to the forehead as well, you know, Botox, wrinkle relaxers, things that's going
07:41to be able to smooth out some of those more prominent features on the face are also going
07:45to be a factor for you.
07:47What would the finished product be?
07:48The finished product would be more of a very natural, but also more feminized look to you.
07:54I definitely want to go through with the procedures.
07:56Awesome.
07:57So let's move forward with next steps, and let's go ahead and get you booked at the front.
08:00Today was amazing.
08:01I feel so much better and so much more confident and so much more ready to live my life authentically
08:09as a trans woman.
08:10What I love most about Dom is that he keeps me so cool, calm, and collected.
08:15The three C's, which are very important with me because I am a certified crash out.
08:21What do I love most about Lola?
08:22She helps me be more of an extrovert.
08:24To the people that judge us, we've been here and we're going to be here, and we are just
08:30here to love and live life.
08:32So regardless of if you're having a bad day, that's not going to stop us from having a
08:37good day.
