FCA aims to double size of Leeds and Edinburgh offices to more than 1000 staff

The Financial Conduct Authority has said it aims to at least double the number of  staff, to more than 1,000, based at is Leeds and Edinburgh offices over the next five years. #FCA

00:05about the Financial Conduct Authority and plans to massively increase the size of its

00:10office in Leeds. The FCA has issued a statement this morning in which it says it works on

00:16behalf of the whole of the UK and supports financial services in all parts of the country.

00:23Since 2021, the FCA has doubled the size of its office in Edinburgh and opened an office

00:28in Leeds. Together, these two offices are now the base for nearly 11% of its workforce.

00:37It says it's going to continue to draw on the skills across the country and aims to

00:41at least double the number of colleagues to over 1,000 based in the Leeds and Edinburgh

00:46offices over the next five years. So major announcement this morning from the FCA about

00:53investment in Leeds.
