Financial Conduct Authority announces further expansion of Leeds office

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is set to base a further 100 of its workforce in Leeds as it expands its footprint in the city.   The FCA will increase its floor space by nearly 5000 sq. feet of its 6 Queen Street office – an additional 35%.

00:07The Financial Conduct Authority is set to base a further 100 staff at its office in Leeds as it expands its operations in Yorkshire.

00:17The FCA will increase its floor space by nearly 5,000 square feet at its base on 6 Queen Street in Leeds.

00:25A refurbishment project on the FCA's Leeds office will begin later in the summer with a new space set to open in the autumn.

00:34Niki Lerati, who's the Chief Executive at the FCA, said we've really benefited from having a base in Leeds,

00:40both in the breadth of talent that have joined the FCA and the different perspectives our Leeds colleagues bring to the full breadth of our work.

00:48So a big update this morning from the FCA, it's set to base a further 100 of its staff in Leeds.
