Love, positivity and unification; that's how Prime Minister Stuart Young is encapsulating the feeling on the ground in the Tunapuna Constituency where he walked on Thursday.
He tells us, fostering positivity in the nation, is a focal point for him.

00:00New Prime Minister Stuart Young met with and greeted residents as he visited the Tunapuna
00:12constituency on Thursday, alongside member of Parliament for the area Esmond Ford and
00:18many party supporters.
00:26It was part of a walkabout held by Young, starting at Eldorado Road on the Eastern Main
00:31Road, venturing into some of the streets and finally concluding at the Exodus Panyard on
00:38the Main Road.
00:39Amid what was for the most part warm greetings, a dissenting voice from one resident, channelled
00:46at MP Ford.
00:57At Exodus Panyard, Young thanked those who joined him for about three hours for what
01:02he called their dedication, further expressing optimism over the April 28th general election.
01:32Young told supporters that there is still a lot of work to be done.
01:43In response to what he met on the ground in Tunapuna, Prime Minister Young relays his
01:48experience to TV6 News.
01:50The walk that I had in Tunapuna yesterday as Prime Minister along with our member of
01:55Parliament MP Esmond Ford and others was a very, very powerful, positive walk.
02:03It really showed me the love that the population have, the positivity that they have.
02:08We were able to interact with a lot of young people who are all cheering us on and looking
02:14forward to the new chapter of Trinidad and Tobago.
02:17And it was a walk that showed positive unification.
02:20The new Prime Minister tells us his focus is on building the country in a positive manner.
02:27And it is undoubted, anyone looking at the photographs or the videos of yesterday's walk
02:36cannot deny what a picture is a thousand words, how great that walk was, how warmly we were
02:45welcomed without doubt.
02:49And I look forward to continuing on this positive pathway for Trinidad and Tobago.
