Sainsbury's boss gives presentation on new Bordon store

Christian Wakelin, head of Supermarket Development at Sainsbury's, gave an update to Whitehill & Bordon residents about the retailer's bid to open a new 16,000 sq ft store in the town centre. He revealed during the meeting that groundwork could start next month.

00:43range, so a lot more individual items per page is what we're really trying to achieve

00:49here, so you'll have more choice than it's a small store footprint, there'll be loads

00:54and loads of choice for your information.

00:56So when I see space and ground I'll believe it, right, that's the first.
