00:17of the province's first-ever museum. The Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Museum showcases
00:22artifacts that tell the story of the province's rich culture and past.
00:27When you enter this building, we can't just explore Maguindanao del Sur.
00:34And then when we came out from this building, we've learned something about where we came from.
00:41Among the exhibits are pusaka, or heirlooms, that are over 50 years old. Visitors can also
00:47see items like the dudan, gadol, sundang, and even a bazooka from the early 1900s.
00:53The museum also highlights the inaul,
00:56a beautifully woven fabric that reflects Maguindanaon artistry.

01:06our Provincial Museum here inside the Provincial Capital Compound at the
01:10Publisyon Muluan in Maguindanao del Sur. The local government is also planning to
01:15offer free field trips for students so they can experience and learn more about their
01:20cultural roots. According to the Bureau on Cultural Heritage, this is the first
01:25provincial government-initiated museum in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao,
01:31a big step in preserving and celebrating local history.
