00:13A stunning museum whose design is inspired by the fruits of the garden was opened in Davao City.
00:20Located in Davao City's People's Park,
00:23the National Museum of the Philippines Davao is the 17th National Museum in the country and the 4th in Mindanao.
00:30Here in Davao, a very special part of this is that we are showing the rich culture and cultural heritage of Davao Region.
00:42The museum has 6 floors and 3 floors of the building has thematic exhibits.
00:48So the concept of each floor is that we have 3 floors where the 2nd floor is about the natural history of Davao.
00:57The 3rd floor is related to Rituals in the Life Cycle.
01:02The title of our exhibition is Kabili.
01:06This is related to the indigenous peoples.
01:09The 4th floor is our textile exhibit.
01:13All of the fabrics, ornaments of our people here in Mindanao.
01:19And the other one is artwork on the other side.
01:22The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm.
