00:00Here's Tom Izzo, uh, we sucked, but we got it done.

00:03It hasn't happened much this year, but in my humble opinion, we, uh, tried to change

00:08our identity.

00:09And all of a sudden, we're gonna be pretty boys and shoot 16 threes and, uh, and a half

00:15and this, that, and the other thing.

00:16We didn't guard anybody.

00:18They were killing us in every way, shape, and form.

00:21And uh, did we wear them down a little bit?

00:24Maybe.

00:25We've done that to a lot of people.

00:26Did we just check a little better?

00:28Maybe.

00:29And, uh, we got out and played a majority of that team.

00:32And yet I do give my team credit for having some character on the road to come back when

00:37it didn't seem like it was our night.

00:39And uh, for that, I'm greatly appreciative.

00:42Yeah, but listen, um, it's so easy to think you're going to be able to sleepwalk through

00:49a game when you're playing a team as crappy as Iowa's been this year.

00:53Iowa's awful.

00:55And they thought they were going to go in there and cakewalk.

00:58That's exactly what happens when you play bad teams.

01:01They get sucked down to their level.

01:04And particularly when you're on the road in a conference like the big 10 or the SEC or

01:08big 12, you think you're going to have an easy night against a bad team.

01:12And then the next thing you know, you're losing.

01:15But Michigan state, when they want to play, we've already, they already have the most,

01:20they're like one of two, two or three teams with the most quad one wins in America.

01:25All they do is beat everyone they play.

01:27So I don't want to hear it.

01:28They won the game.

01:29A wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins, a wins.

01:35And uh, Iowa with that loss now, uh, they're in big trouble, Mr.

01:39Uh, in terms of making, I mean, they're not even going to make the big 10 tournament.

01:44I believe they need to win, uh, on Saturday, who are they playing on Saturday?

01:49Uh, they're playing Sunday actually against Nebraska.

01:53They have to beat Nebraska at Nebraska and I think they, they still need help beyond

01:59that.

02:00They need one or two of those dreams.

02:01They lost Nebraska, lost Ohio state by two and like double overtime and in Columbus,

02:09Nebraska is going to beat Iowa in Lincoln as sure as we're sitting here.

02:14I don't disagree with you.

02:16Uh, but I don't like, um, and I think the Penn state coach brought this up and I agree

02:20with him.

02:21I don't like that.

02:22They, uh, are chopping teams out from even going to the tournament.

02:27Everyone should be at the conference tournament.

02:29I don't care if you got to start on Monday or Tuesday.

02:32I don't care when you got to do it, everyone.

02:35And you know what?

02:36This is part of growing into these 20 team leagues, uh, that they're all bursting into

02:41now.

02:42Everyone should be at your conference tournament.

02:46Especially these heavy leagues.

02:47You can't leave people home.
