00:00Michigan-UConn, big-time ratings.
00:01Why?
00:02We know UConn.
00:03We knew Michigan.
00:05We thought we'd get a good game, and it was kind of an ugly game,
00:08but it was a close game that captivated us.
00:10A lot of people watched, Joe.
00:12Why?
00:12Because the big boys pay dividends in the ratings market.
00:17And like I said, it was twofold, right?
00:20You had two blue bloods with great history
00:23and just made for great television,
00:25and you had a pretty significant favorite in Michigan.
00:30But you have the history of UConn, which is what made it so great.
00:34But the fact that the most eyeballs on that game occurred
00:39at 11 p.m. Eastern time, right when the game was ending,
00:43tells you everything you need to know about starting these games at 9.30
00:48and letting them go to midnight or later
00:51makes absolutely no sense from a ratings perspective.
