00:05Reuters now reports that some 240,000 Ukrainian refugees who fled the Russian invasion could

00:12see their temporary legal status in the U.S. revoked.

00:16The move would be part of a larger effort by President Donald Trump to crack down on

00:21On his first day back in the White House, the leader issued an executive order calling

00:25for the Department of Homeland Security to terminate all categorical parole programs

00:30which allowed 1.8 million migrants to enter the U.S. under Biden.

00:35The White House's press secretary has denied the plans.

00:38Reacting to Reuters' report on X, Caroline Lovett said no decision has been made at this

00:42time.

00:43But three sources familiar with the developments have told Reuters that the unprecedented move

00:49would put some Ukrainians at risk of fast-track deportation.

00:53They could be expected to leave as early as April.

00:56If true, it would be the latest blow to Ukraine and its people after Washington moved to halt

01:01all military aid for the war-torn country and pause intelligence sharing.
